It is clear that the teachings of Islam are easy to understand and practice.
Acquiring the basic teachings of Islam is a duty on every Muslim.
The Companions acquired the knowledge and understanding of the Qur'an and Sunnah from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and lived their entire lives according to this knowledge and understanding of the Qur'an and Sunnah.
And thus they became worthy of the pleasure of Allah Ta'ala.
And the religion of Islam in its true and perfect form has always been preserved and will remain preserved until the Day of Judgment in the same way as it existed in the era of the Prophet and the era of the Companions.
Now it is the responsibility of the scholars to try to highlight the basic and important teachings of the religion of Islam in front of the people without any complications in common language and simple style.
And all Muslims need to understand this with full faith and complete faith that just as it is easy to understand the teachings of Islam, it is also easy to follow these teachings.
Because Allah Ta'ala said:
And what did we make of you in the religion of harm (Al-Hajj: 78)
And He (Allah) has not restricted you in religion.
In other words, he did not give such an order that the human soul could not afford, (otherwise a little hard work would have to be done in every work), but he also canceled some of the strict orders of the previous shariats, in addition to many eases for the Muslims. Grant, which was not in the previous laws.
And Allah Almighty said four times in Surah Al-Qamar, after mentioning the brief events of the people of Nuh, the people of Aad, the people of Thamud, and the people of Lut respectively.
And we have made the Qur'an easy for remembrance
Surely We have made the Qur'an easy for admonition, so who is there to receive admonition?
That is, we have made it easy to understand its demands and meanings, to get lessons and advice from it and to remember it verbally. (Tafseer Ahsan Al Bayan)
And the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
Indeed, religion is easy and evil, and there is only one religion (Al-Bukhari: 39).
Indeed, religion is easy, and whoever is unnecessarily strict in religion, then religion overcomes him.
That is, such a person becomes overwhelmed and abandons the practice of religion.
(Sharh Riyaz al-Saliheen by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, may Allah have mercy on him / Volume I, Page No. 164)
The meaning of the religion being easy is that it is easy to understand all the teachings of the religion of Islam and to act according to the Shariah laws.
The teachings of Islam cover the entire life of a human being (from birth to death).
And the details of the beginning of the universe and the details after the end of the universe are also described in the religion of Islam.
The details of the death of a person and the life of Barzakh in the grave until the resurrection is established after death are also described in the religion of Islam.
Whoever studies the Qur'an and the Sunnah according to the incomprehensible Salaf,
So, such a wide and profound study of the Qur'an and Sunnah can be an effective reason for the increase in the faith and practice of every Muslim and for the happiness and success of this world and the hereafter, God willing.
In all areas of human life, the teachings of Islam provide correct and perfect guidance.
All the teachings and all the commands of the religion of Islam have all the aspects of simplicity.
And in the Qur'an and Sunnah, there are many clear arguments for the ease of religion (in terms of knowledge, understanding and practice).
Allah Ta'ala and His Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, have described the ease in the teachings of the religion of Islam and its commands.
It is not allowed to add more eases to the religion of Islam by our intellect and our desires while exceeding these eases.
Because Allah has completed the religion of Islam
So when the religion of Islam is complete,
So there is no room for excess and deficiency.
Ijtihadi issues are also explained in the light of the texts of the Qur'an and Sunnah.
So, these ijtihad problems will not be called an increase or a deficiency in the religion of Islam.
The simplicity of religion does not mean leaving duties and obligations.
nor to commit sins,
Rather, following the teachings and orders of the Islamic religion as much as possible while adopting the Shariah holidays described in the Qur'an and Sunnah is the very name of "facilitating the religion".
The religion that is easy in terms of knowledge, understanding and practice,
So many Muslims do not follow this simple religion.
So, this type of Muslim is either dominated by Satan or dominated by self-immolation.
That is, such a Muslim is caught in doubts and lusts,
Or wealth and children and all kinds of colors of the world, the Shariat is caught in love,
Or such a Muslim is the neighbor of bad friends.
Or such a Muslim is captured by the love of honor and fame and position.
Such a Muslim avoids attending the gatherings of scholars and listening to their speeches.
Every Muslim should maintain his relationship with the scholars throughout his life while praying to Allah Almighty to make the religion of Islam easy in terms of knowledge, understanding and practice.
In the mosques, the lessons and sermons of the imams should be continuously benefited from Friday.
The first and last thing is that every Muslim should always pray to Allah Ta'ala from puberty to death that Allah Ta'ala makes it easy for him to gain knowledge and understanding of the religion of Islam and follow it.
Despite the presence of thousands of supporting causes and resources, it is not easy for any human being to gain knowledge and understanding of the religion of Islam and to follow it without the help of Allah Ta'ala.
O Allah, make the knowledge and understanding of the religion of Islam easy for us and grant us happiness in this world and the hereafter, Amen.
