I'm Basharat Baba, a passionate auto vlogger from the vibrant streets of Jammu Kashmir. My journey as a content creator began in 2019, when the motovlogging craze swept my city. Like many others, I was drawn to the thrill of creating motovlogs, and I started my YouTube channel with enthusiasm. With dedication and hard work, I gradually built a loyal following of over 10,000 subscribers and made a name for myself in the motovlogging community.
However, as time passed, I realized that I was just one of many creators doing the same thing. The lack of uniqueness and creativity in my content started to bother me. Moreover, my family was not supportive of my endeavors, especially after a major accident on the Nagrota Highway left my bike seized for a month. With no financial means to release it, I was forced to rely on others for help.
Despite these setbacks, I managed to retrieve my bike and continued to create content. But the experience had left me shaken, and I began to reevaluate my priorities. I made the difficult decision to sell my beloved bike, which had been my constant companion on countless motovlogging adventures.
The sale of my bike marked a turning point in my journey. I used the funds to purchase an e-rickshaw, and I began to explore a new type of content creation – minivlogs on Instagram Reels. The transition was not easy, and I faced numerous challenges as I learned to navigate this new format. But with persistence and dedication, I slowly started to gain traction.
In just a month, I crossed the milestone of 1 lakh plus followers on Instagram. The response from my city was overwhelming, and I felt a sense of purpose and motivation that I had never experienced before. My daily routine became a balancing act – riding my e-rickshaw during the day and editing my vlogs late into the night, often until 2 AM.
This journey as a content creator has given me so much more than I could have ever imagined. The love and support of my city, the thrill of creating something new and unique, and the sense of fulfillment that comes with pursuing my passion – it's a feeling that I struggle to put into words. When I sit in my auto, surrounded by the sights and sounds of my city, I feel a deep sense of connection and purpose. This is my story, and I'm grateful to be able to share it with you.
